Dinesh Perera - President and Chief Executive Officer

Dinesh Perera has been involved in the area of international investments, business development, and investment banking for over 15 years. His background in investment banking and venture management are invaluable for each project he works on. Mr. Perera was an adviser to East West Bank on the evaluation of their investment assets. Before founding Opes Ventures, he was an Investment Banker with Hansen Capital. Prior to working in investments, he was in charge of North American Business Development for Toyota, where he managed cross-functional development teams and was responsible for negotiating and establishing multi-million dollar joint venture programs. Mr. Perera received a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a MBA from the University of Southern California.

Carl L. Christie II - Vice President of Business Development

Christie brings over 15 years of experience in private sector financing, business development, and legal. Prior to joining Opes Ventures, Mr. Christie was President of Christie and Associates, an international business development firm. He also served as Legal Counsel to the Committee on the Budget of the US House of Representatives for several years. In that position, he gave legal advice to both members of Congress and committee staff. He provides a strong legal foundation for our management team. Significantly, he provides direct access to one of President Bush's top advisers and many members of Congress. Mr. Christie received a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law.

Roger Birmingham - Chief Financial Officer

Roger Birmingham brings to Opes Ventures over 25 years of senior management, business development, marketing, principal investing and entrepreneurship experience in project development and financing in both the US and Asia. Prior to joining Opes Ventures, Mr. Birmingham was a founding member of Deca Investments, focusing on investments in internet services and networking. He was part of the Product Strategy Group at Tricon Systems and worked on refining and enhancing their Business Process Management offering. Mr. Birmingham received a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from UCLA and a MBA from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School.

John Tamara - International Development Specialist

John Tamara has over 35 years of development experience in Asia and is a well-respected investor. He was President and Director of Bumi Upaya Griya (BUG) - Indonesia, the largest land development and investment company in Indonesia. During his tenure BUG built and sold 21,000 houses. He was also Managing Director of Pt. Karabha Digdaya in Jakarta, the developer of Emeralda Golf Resort, perhaps one of the finest resort and estate home complexes in Indonesia. Mr. Tamara received a Post-graduate degree in Finance and Management from the Catholic University in Bandung, Indonesia

David Levin - Vice President of Sales and Marketing

David Levin has over 20 years of management experience in sales and marketing. Before joining Opes Ventures he was Vice President of Sales for Cosmart Development. Prior to joining Cosmart, he was Vice President of Sales at Deca Investments. He also spent 12 years with MCI where he served in various management positions in sales and marketing. Mr. Levin received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a MBA from the University of Chicago.
